All Hallow's Apparition
Upon looking out west window yon
when winter dark did seep and crawl
October winds did sing outside
when something did I spy
A gossamer white cloud there was
that became a form of woman fair
Shuddering I ran to the safety
of my maiden's bed, neath covers
that hid me well till morning did come.
